The goal is to get you to zero in on the words that they want you to look at. These sites are written to make money from people who visit them. If you fall for their tricks you will end of making an investment that you never see a return on.
Beware of sites that want you to pay to start a blog. There are plenty of free blogging sites that will allow you to set up a blog without any type of investment. There is no need to fork money to start one.
One of the most popular online money making schemes is the data entry one. Making money from simple data entry at home is not always a scam. However, the majority of sites you encounter that offer this as a work option are scams. Companies often get people to do a 'test' run for them and never go to them for anymore work. The test may be actual work that the company needs done. So if they find a fair amount of t people willing to put up their money and complete the test, they will get loads of work done for free.
If you are looking for ways to make money online, learn how to build websites. You probably won't get rich, although a few have, from building websites, but you can make some money. You could also try writing about subjects you are familiar with. People search the Internet for all type of information. Even the most obscure skills have a place online.
